The Anti-Rabies Vaccination (ARV) Program by Rroaming Paws Foundation (RPF) works to protect both humans and animals from the deadly rabies virus. We focus on vaccinating community dogs and cats — especially in rural and underserved regions — to eliminate rabies from India by 2030.
Why ARV Is Important
- Rabies is 100% fatal but 100% preventable.
- Most human rabies deaths are due to bites from unvaccinated dogs.
- Vaccinating community dogs and cats breaks the chain of transmission.
- Promotes compassion and reduces fear towards community animals.
Program Focus
- Focus on rural, tribal, and underserved areas.
- Collaborate with Gram Panchayats, Municipal Councils, and NGOs.
- Attach official census or population report with each program request.
